OFOSA3 “Fosamax Plus tablet” 70 mg/5600 IU
Each tab contains alendronate 91.37 mg(equivalent to alendronic acid 70 mg), Vit. D3 53.33 mg(equivalent to colecalciferol 140 ug)
適應症：停經婦女骨質疏鬆症之治療。治療男性骨質疏鬆症，以增加骨密度。
Usual dose: 1 tablet once weekly.
Contraindication:
Esophageal abnormalities (stricture or achalasia) which delay esophageal emptying, hypocalcemia.
Adverse effect:
Common: decreased calcium level, decreased phosphate level, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, musculoskeletal pain.
Serious: esophageal cancer, esophageal erosions, esophageal perforation, esophageal stricture, esophagitis, gastric ulcer, ulcer of esophagusarthralgia, aseptic necrosis of bone of jaw, bone pain, myalgia, osteonecrosis due to drugs, external auditory canal.
