適應症：食道靜脈曲張出血，尿崩症，手術後腹部膨脹，排除腹部氣影。
Usual dose:
Diabetes insipidus: IM/SC
Adult: 5-10 U (0.25-0.5 ml) bid-qid.
Pediatric: 2.5-10 U (0.125-0.5 ml) bid-qid.
Diagnostic radiography of abdomen: IM/SC
10 U (0.5 ml) given in 2 h and 1/2 h, respectively, before films are exposed.
Adverse effect:
Common: gangrenous disorder, cutaneous, sweating symptom, urticaria, nausea, passing flatus, stomach cramps, vomiting, throbbing headache, tremor, vertigo.
Serious: cardiac arrest, cardiac dysrhythmia, coronary arteriosclerosis, decreased cardiac output, gangrenous disorder, water intoxication syndrome, anaphylaxis, stenosis of bronchus.
