Anti-infective Agents : Penicillins
IBICI1 “Bicillin injection” 2.4 MU/ 4 mL/syringe
適應症:葡萄球菌、鏈球菌、肺炎雙球菌、腦膜炎球菌及其他具有感受性細菌引起之感染症
Usual dose:
Bacterial upper respiratory infection, Bejel, Yaws: IM (single dose)
Adult: 1,200,000 U.
Pediatric
(≧60 lbs): 900,000 U.
(≦60 lbs): 300,000-600,000 U
Glomerulonephritis; Rheumatic fever Prophylaxis: Following an attack: IM (single injection): 1,200,000 U once a month or 600,000 U q2w.
Syphilis, Primary, secondary, latent: 2,400,000 U IM (single dose)
Tertiary and neurosyphilis: 2,400,000 U IM at 7-day intervals for 3 doses.
Congenital syphilis:
Pediatric: 50,000 U/kg IM in a single dose up to 2.4 million U/dose.
Dose adjustment:
Renal failure: CrCl 10-50 ml/min, 75% usual dose, usual intervals; < 10 ml/min, 20-50% usual dose, usual intervals.
Adverse effect:
Common: rash, urticaria, injection site reaction; Jarisch Herxheimer reaction, when used for syphilis.
Serious: pseudomembranous enterocolitis, drug-induced eosinophilia, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenic disorder, neuropathy, kidney disease, edema of larynx, anaphylaxis.
