Neurologic Drugs : Parkinsonism
IBIPI1 “Bipiden injection” 5 mg/ml; 1 ml/amp
OBIPE1 “Biperin tablet” 2 mg/tab
適應症:帕金森氏症。
Usual dose:
Extrapyramidal disease-Medication-induced movement disorder: IM/IV/PO
Adult: 2 mg IM/IV, may repeat q30min until resolution of symptoms, max. 4 doses/24 h; PO, 2 mg tid.
Parkinsonism: PO
Adult: 2 mg tid-qid; individualize dosage, titrate upward to a max. 16 mg/day.
Contraindication:
Bowel obstruction, megacolon, narrow angle glaucoma.
Precaution:
Cardiac arrhythmia, epilepsy, manifest glaucoma, prostatism, concomitant administration of drugs that have secondary anticholinergic actions (eg, meperidine, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, quinidine salts, antihistamines).
Adverse effect:
Common: constipation, xerostomia, somnolence, blurred vision, urinary retention.
Serious: anticholinergic agent toxicity, abnormal behavior, confusion.
