Hormones and Agents Affecting Hormonal Mechanism : Anterior Pituitary and Hypothalanic Function
OSYNT3 “Syntocriptine tablet” 2.5 mg/tab
適應症：產後、原發性腫瘤、藥物引起之乳漏症、催乳引起之月經失調及不孕症、抑制泌乳、原發性及腦炎後的帕金森氏病。
Usual dose:
Acromegaly: PO
Initial, 1.25-2.5 mg hs; increase 1.25-2.5 mg q3-7d as needed; maintenance, 20-30 mg/day; max. 100 mg/day.
Hyperprolactinemia: PO
Initial, 1.25-2.5 mg/day, increase dose by 2.5 mg q2-7d as needed until optimal therapeutic response achieved; usual dose range, 2.5-15 mg daily.
Contraindication:
During postpartum period in women with history of coronary artery disease or other severe cardiovascular conditions unless withdrawal is considered medically contraindicated.
Uncontrolled hypertension.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypotension, vasoconstriction disorder of extremities, constipation, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, fatigue.
Serious: myocardial infarction, postpartum, cerebral ischemia, cerebrovascular accident, confusion, dyskinesia, seizure, hallucinations, psychotic disorder, disorder of lower respiratory system, pleuropulmonary (long-term use).
