Psychopharmacologic Drugs : Anxiolytics, Sedatives and Hypnotics
OSEPI1 “Sepirone tablet” 5 mg/tab
適應症：焦慮狀態。
Usual dose:
Anxiety:
Adult: initial, 5 mg bid-tid or 7.5 mg bid; may increase the dosage by 5 mg/day q2-3d as needed, usual dose 20-30 mg/day in 2-3 divided doses, max. 60 mg/day.
Pediatric: initial, 5 mg/day; may increase the dosage by 5-10 mg/day q3d as needed, usual dose 30 mg/day in 2 divided doses, max. 50 mg/day.
Depression:
Adult: 5 mg tid; increase the dosage by 5-10 mg/day q2-3d; usual dose 40-55 mg/day, max, 90 mg/day.
Dose adjustment:
Renal/liver disease: use lower initial doses and increase gradually as needed and tolerated.
Precaution: avoid drinking large amounts of grapefruit juice.
Adverse effect:
Common: nausea, asthenia, confusion, dizziness, excitement, headache, numbness, blurred vision feeling angry, feeling nervous, hostile behavior.
Serious: CHF, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident.
