適應症：1.本態性高血壓；2.治療左心室射出率≦40%之心臟衰竭病患，作為血管加壓素轉化酶抑制劑(ACE-inhibitors)輔助療法，或使用於無法耐受血管加壓素轉化酶抑制劑的病人，以減少心臟血管死亡率或心衰竭導致之住院。
Usual dose:
Hypertension: PO, 16 mg qd or in 2 divided doses; range 8-32 mg qd-bid.
Precaution:
Pregnancy, second and third trimesters; fetal and neonatal morbidity and death have occurred.
Geriatric (≧75 yrs, with heart failure): possibility of increased sensitivity to therapy.
Renal impairment; oliguria, progressive azotemia and/or acute renal failure can be precipitated.
Adverse effect:
Rash, weating, hypotention, pruritus, urticaria, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting.
Dose Adjustments:
Renal insufficiency: no initial dose adjustment necessary.
Renal impairment, moderate to severe (CrCl 15 to 60 mL/min/1.73 m(2)): 8 mg daily may be a sufficient dose.
Hepatic insufficiency: Mild: no dose adjustment. Moderate: initiate therapy with 8 mg in adults with hypertension. Severe: no dose recommendation available.
Geriatric: no initial dose adjustment necessary.
