Relief of Pain and Inflammation : Narcotic Analgesics
OCHLO9 “Chloral hydrate solution”100 mg/ml, 30 ml/bot
適應症：Alcohol withdrawal syndrome, treatment and prophylaxis insomnia, postoperative pain; adjunct sedation.
Usual dose: PO
Adult: Sedation: 250 mg PO tid after meals (max. 2 g/day).
Pediatric: 8 mg/kg body weight or 250 mg/m(2) of body surface area PO tid (max dose 500 mg/dose).
Dose adjustment:
Renal impairment: no dosage adjustment need for CrCl above 50 mL/min; do not use if CrCl is below 50 mL/min Geriatrics (insomnia): 250 mg PO 15-30 min before bedtime Hemodialysis: a maintenance dose should be given following hemodialysis
Adverse effect:
Common: lightheadedness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, clumsiness, dizziness, hangover, somnolence, unsteadiness present.
Serious: cutaneous hypersensitivity (rare), confusion, excitement, unusual (rare), hallucinations.
