Neurologic Drugs : Skeletal Muscle Relaxants
OMUSG2 “Musgud tablet” 5 mg/tab
OFLEX2 “Flexer FC tablet” 5 mg/tab
適應症：緩解急性骨骼肌肌肉之痙攣。
Usual dose:
Adult: 5 mg, tid; max. 60 mg/day, for up to 2-3 wk.
Pediatric: no information.
Elderly: Initiate at 5 mg and increase gradually as needed because of greater risk for impaired hepatic metabolism and clearance.
Dose adjustment:
Hepatic insufficiency:
- a) Mild: Initiate at 5 mg and increase gradually as needed.
- b) Moderate or severe: Use not recommended
Contraindication:
Concomitant use with MAOI or use of MAOI within past 14 days; may cause hyperpyretic crisis seizure and death; arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, heart block, hyperthyroidism, myocardial infarction (acute recovery period).
Adverse effect:
Common: palpitations, bad taste in mouth, constipation, indigestion, nausea, pharyngeal dryness, xerostomia, asthenia, confusion, dizziness, headache, somnolence, blurred vision, feeling nervous.
Serious: cardiac dysrhythmia, cholestasis, hepatitis, jaundice, anaphylaxis, immune hypersensitivity reaction.
