適應症：醣副腎皮質素適應症、如Addison’s病、免疫性病、發炎病症、急性休克。
Usual dose:
Adult: IV/IM 0.5-24 mg/day.
Pediatric: IV/IM 6-40 mcg/kg qd-bid.
Contraindication: systemic fungal infections.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypertension, atrophic condition of skin, finding of skin healing impaired, decreased body growth, disorder of gastrointestinal tract, at risk for infection, depression, euphoria.
Serious: cushing’s syndrome, hyperglycemia, primary adrenocortical insufficiency, osteoporosis, cataract, glaucoma, pulmonary tuberculosis.
