適應症：出血時之血漿增量劑。
Usual dose:
Plasma expander transfusion; Adjunct – Traumatic shock:
Adult: initial dose 10 ml/kg IV, infused as rapidly as necessary to effect improvement, max. dose 20 ml/kg in first 24 h; beyond 24 h, daily dose should not exceed 10 ml/kg/day, therapy should not exceed 5 days.
Pediatric (infants): IV, 5 ml/kg.
Contraindication:
Pulmonary edema, renal disease with severe oliguria or anuria, severe bleeding disorders, severe congestive heart failure.
Adverse effect:
Serious:congestive heart failure, thrombocytopenia, anaphylaxis, acute renal failure, pulmonary edema.
