Relief of Pain and Inflammation : Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Agents (NSAID)

適應症:慢性關節風濕、僂麻質斯變形性關節炎、變形性脊椎症、腰痛症、骨盤內炎症、末梢神經病變、腰部椎間突出症、偏頭痛等疾患及症狀之消炎、鎮痛。

Usual dose:

Osteoarthritis: 50 mg bid or tid, max. 200 mg/day.

Rheumatoid arthritis: 50 mg tid-qid, max. 225 mg/day.

Pain or Primary dysmenorrhea: may initiate with 100 mg followed by 50 mg tid, max. 200 mg/day the first day and 150 mg/day thereafter.

Dose adjustment:

Renal impairment: initiate therapy with lowest recommended dosage, monitor p’ts closely.

Contraindication:

Treatment of peri-operative pain in setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.

P’ts who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents; severe, even fatal, anaphylactic-like reactions have been reported.

Adverse effect:

Common: edema, pruritus, rash, abdominal pain, constipation, constipation, flatulence, indigestion, nausea, increased liver function test, dizziness, headache, tinnitus.

Serious: congestive heart failure, hypertension, myocardial infarction, thrombotic tendency observations, erythema multiforme, scaling eczema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, gastrointestinal perforation, gastrointestinal ulcer, inflammatory disorder of digestive tract, melena, pancreatitis, vomiting, agranulocytosis, anemia, aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, purpuric disorder, thrombocytopenic disorder, cirrhosis of liver, hepatic necrosis, hepatitis, angioedema.
