適應症：高血壓、良性前列腺肥大。
Usual dose:
Benign prostatic hyperplasia:
Adult: (immediate release) initial, 1 mg qd, titrate at 1-2 wk intervals; maintenance, 1-8 mg qd; (extended release) initial, 4 mg qd with breakfast; titrate at 3-4 wk intervals based on response; maintenance, 4-8 mg qd, max. 8 mg/day.
Congestive heart failure:
Adult: 1-16 mg qd.
Hypertension:
Adult: initial, 1 mg qd, titrate to maintenance, 1-16 mg qd.
Pediatric: initial, 1 mg/day qd; max. 4 mg/day.
Adverse effect:
Common: edema, hypotension, palpitations, abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, headache, somnolence, vertigo, anxiety, fatigue.
Serious: disorder of hematopoietic structure, hepatitis, intraoperative floppy iris syndrome, priapism.
