Neurologic Drugs : Anesthesia
IDROP2 “Dropedol injection” 2.5 mg/ml; 2 ml/amp
適應症：降低由於手術及診斷程序所造成之噁心、嘔吐。
Usual dose:
Nausea and vomiting, perioperative, second-line therapy:
Adult: initial max. dose 2.5 mg IM/IV, may repeat 1.25 mg dose based on p’t response.
Pediatric (2-12 yrs): initial max.dose 0.1 mg/kg slow IV/IM, may repeat 0.1 mg/kg dose based on p’t response.
Dose adgustment:
Renal impairment/liver disease/geriatrics: lower doses may be required.
Contraindication:
Known/suspected QT interval prolongation concomitant administration with other central nervous system depressants.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypotension, tachyarrhythmia, extrapyramidal disease, somnolence, anxiety, dysphoric mood.
Serious:prolonged QT interval, torsades de pointes, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, respiratory depression.
