OAVOD1 “Avodart soft capsule” 0.5 mg/cap
適應症：治療具有症狀之攝護腺肥大症。而有緩解相關症狀、降低急性尿滯留之發生率、減少攝護腺肥大症相關手術必要性之效果。
Usual dose:
Adult: male, 0.5mg qd.
Precaution:
Women may be pregnant should not handle this capsule.
Men treated with dustasteride should not donate blood until at least 6 mon have passed following their last dose.
Contraindication: use in children and women.
Adverse effect:
Common: disorder of breast and ejaculation, impotence, reduced libido.
Serious: cutaneous hypersensitivity ,immune hypersensitivity reaction, angioedema.

1.限良性前列腺肥大且有阻塞症狀，經直腸超音波前列腺掃描 (TRUS of prostate) 或經腹部超音波測量(僅限無法實施直腸超音波前列腺掃描者)前列腺大於30mL或最大尿流速 (Qmax) 小於15 mL/sec之病人，前列腺特異抗原 (PSA) 高於正常參考值之病人，需經病理診斷無前列腺癌，無法接受切片檢查者，應於病歷詳載原因方可使用。(102/12/1)
2.服藥後第一年，每半年需作直腸超音波前列腺掃描或腹部超音波測量(僅限無法實施直腸超音波前列腺掃描者)或尿流速儀(uroflow-metry) 檢查，需證明前列腺有縮小或尿流速有增加，方得繼續使用。(102/12/1)
