Gastrointestinal Agents : Agents Used in Peptic Ulcer Disease : Proton Pump Inhibitor
ONEXI1 “Nexium tablet”40 mg/tab
適應症：胃食道逆流性疾病-糜爛性逆流性食道炎之治療。胃食道逆流性疾病之症狀治療。與適當之抗菌劑療法併用，以根除幽門螺旋桿菌，及治療由幽門螺旋桿菌引發之十二指腸潰瘍。需要持續使用非類固醇抗發炎藥(NSAID)之病患。NSAID治療相關之胃潰瘍的治療。Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome(ZES)之治療。
Usual dose:
Erosive esophagitis, GERD: PO, 20-40 mg qd for 4-8 wks; maintenance, 20 mg qd.
Gastric ulcer, NSAID-associated: PO, 20 or 40 mg qd, up to 6 mon.
Duodenal ulcer disease- Helicobacter pylori gastrointestinal tract infection: PO, 40 mg qd for 10-14 days (in combination triple therapy, amoxicillin 1000 mg bid plus clarithromycin 500 mg bid).
Precaution: severe liver impairment, Child Pugh Class C.
Adverse effect:
Common: abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, headache, nausea.
Serious: erythema multiforme, pancreatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, hip fracture, rhabdomyolysis.
