Neurologic Drugs : Alzheimer’s disease
OREMI2 “Reminyl SR capsule” 16 mg/cap
適應症：治療Alzheimer症輕度至中度嚴重痴呆。
Usual dose:
Alzheimer’s disease-Dementia (Mild to Moderate):
Adult: initial, 8 mg/day once daily for a minimum of 4 wks; maintenance, 16 mg/day once daily for a minimum of 4 wks, further increases to 24 mg/day may be attempted after a minimum of 4 wks at the previous dose, max. 24 mg/day.
Precaution:
Concomitant use of drugs that slow heart rate (eg, beta-blockers); increased risk of bradycardia and AV block.
Adverse effect:
Common: weight loss, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache.
Serious: bradyarrhythmia, cardiac dysrhythmia, heart failure, esophageal perforation, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, rectal hemorrhage, thrombocytopenia, death.
