Cardiovascular – Renal Drugs : Hyperlipidemia
OGEMD6 “Gemd tablet” 600 mg/tab
適應症：高脂血症。
Usual dose:
Coronary arteriosclerosis; Prophylaxis – Fredrickson type IIb hyperlipoproteinemia: PO, 600 mg bid 30 min before the morning and evening meal.
Familial type 5 hyperlipoproteinemia – Fredrickson type IV hyperlipoproteinemia: PO, 600 mg bid 30 min before the morning and evening meal.
Dose adjustment:
Renal impairment: not recommended in p’ts with severe renal impairment.
Contraindication:
Concomitant gemfibrozil and cerivastatin, preexisting gallbladder disease, hepatic dysfunction, including primary biliary cirrhosis, severe renal impairment.
Precaution:
Cholelithiasis, Concomitant use of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins); risk for rhabdomyolysis.
Adverse effect:
Common: rash, abdominal pain, diarrhea, flatulence, indigestion, xerostomia, myalgia.
Serious: liver function tests abnormal, rhabdomyolysis, especially when coadministered with a statin.
