適應症：腎上腺皮質機能不全、劇烈休克、膠原疾病(全身性紅斑性狼瘡)、過敏反應(支氣管氣喘)、過敏性皮膚疾患(天皰瘡、剝脫性皮膚炎)。
Usual dose: slow IV/IF/IM
Adult: 100-500 mg q2-10h as needed.
Pediatric: 0.16-1 mg/kg qd-bid.
Contraindication: systemic fungal infections.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypertension, atrophic condition of skin, finding of skin healing impaired, decreased body growth, disorder of gastrointestinal tract, at risk for infection, depression, euphoria.
Serious: cushing’s syndrome, hyperglycemia, primary adrenocortical insufficiency, osteoporosis, cataract, glaucoma, pulmonary tuberculosis.
