適應症：胃潰瘍、十二指腸潰瘍、胃食道逆流性疾病-糜爛性逆流性食道炎之治療，胃食道逆流性疾病之症狀治療。Zollomger-Ellison症候群、合併抗生素治療與幽門螺旋桿菌(Helicobacter pylori)相關的消化性潰瘍、治療因NSAID類藥物引起之胃潰瘍(Takepron OD tablet)。
Usual dose:
Duodenal ulcer disease, short-term treatment of active disease and maintenance of healed ulcers:
Adult: 15 mg qd.
Duodenal ulcer disease, triple therapy – Helicobacter pylori gastrointestinal tract infection:
Adult: 30 mg bid for 10-14 days (in combination triple therapy, amoxicillin 1 g bid plus clarithromycin 500 mg bid).
Erosive esophagitis; maintenance:
Adult: 15 mg qd.
Pediatric
(1-11 yrs, < 30 kg): 15 mg qd for up to 12 wes, may increase dose up to 30 mg bid.
(1-11 yrs, ≧ 30 kg): 30 mg qd for up to 12 wks, may increase dose up to 30 mg bid.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease:
Adult: 15 mg qd, up to 8 wks.
Pediatric
(1-11 yrs, < 30 kg): 15 mg qd for up to 12 wks, may increase dose up to 30 mg bid.
(1-11 yrs, ≧ 30 kg): 30 mg qd for up to 12 wks, may increase dose up to 30 mg bid.
(> 12 yrs): 15 mg qd, up to 8 wks.
Adverse effect:
Common: abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, headache.
Serious: hip fracture, rhabdomyolysis.
