OLOPE1 “Loperam capsule” 2 mg/cap
適應症:急慢性腹瀉。
Usual dose:
Diarrhea-acute:
Adult: 4 mg followed by 2 mg after each loose stool; max. 16 mg daily.
Pediatric
(2-5 yrs, 13-20 kg): 1st day dosage 1 mg tid.
(6-8 yrs, 20-30 kg): 1st day dosage 2 mg bid.
(8-12 yrs, > 30 kg): 1st day dosage 2 mg tid.
Diarrhea-acute, chronic and traveler’s diarrhea:
Adult: 4 mg followed by 2 mg after each loose stool; max. 16 mg daily.
Traveler’s diarrhea:
Pediatric
(6-8 yrs, 48-59 lbs): 2 mg followed by 1 mg after each loose stool, up to a max. of 4 mg/day.
(9-11 yrs, 60-95 lbs): 2 mg followed by 1 mg after each loose stool up to a max. of 6 mg/day.
(≧ 12 yrs): 4 mg followed by 2 mg after each loose stool up to a max. of 8 mg/day.
Adverse effect:
Common: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting; dizziness; fatigue, hyperglycemia; somnolence;xerostomia.
Serious: necrotizing enterocolitis.
