Psychopharmacologic Drugs : Anxiolytics, Sedatives and Hypnotics
IANXI1 “Anxicam injection” 2 mg/ml, 1ml/amp
OANXI3 “Anxiedin tablet” 0.5 mg/tab
OATIV1 “Ativan tablet” 0.5 mg/tab
OLORA3 “ Lorazin tablet” 1 mg/tab
OSILE1 “ Silence tablet” 1 mg/tab
適應症:
IANXI1, OANXI3, OLORA3, OSILE1:焦慮狀態。
OATIV1:焦慮失眠。
Usual dose:
Anxiety disorders: PO
Adult: initial, 2-3 mg/day divided 2-3 times; maintenance, 2-6 mg/day divided 2-3 times; max. 10 mg/day.
Insomnia: PO
Adult (≧12 yrs): 2-4 mg hs.
Alcohol withdrawal: PO
Adult: 2 mg q6h for 4 doses, then 1mg q6h for 8 doses.
Antiemetic: IV, IM
Adult(≧18 yrs): A single dose of 0.025-0.05 mg/kg, max. 4 mg IM or IV given slowly (2 mg/min), 30-35 min prior to receiving chemotherapy.
Preanesthetic: IM/IV
Adult(≧18 yrs): 0.05 mg/kg IM 2 h before procedure, max 4 mg/dose; 0.044 mg/kg or < 2 mg/dose IV, max. 0.05 mg/kg or < 4 mg/dose.
Status epilepticus: IV
Adult (≧18 yrs): 4 mg (given slowly, 2 mg/min), may repeat dose in 10-15 min if needed.
Dose adjustment:
Geriatric: PO 1-2 mg/day in divided doses, then increase dose gradually as needed and tolerated.
Contraindication:
Acute narrow-angle glaucoma, intra-arterial administration, p’ts < 6 mon of age, p’ts with sleep apnea syndrome, severe respiratory insufficiency (unless mechanically ventilated), untreated open angle glaucoma.
Adverse effect:
Common: asthenia, depression, transient memory impairment, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, sedation, GI symptoms, nausea, unsteadiness, weakness, , acidosis, delirium.
