Relief of Pain and Inflammation : Narcotic Analgesics
IPETH1 “Pethidine HCl injection” 50 mg/ml; 1 ml/amp
OPETH1 “Pethidine HCl tablet” 50 mg/tab
適應症:鎮痛。
Usual dose:
Adult:
IM/PO/SC: 50-150 mg q3-4h as needed.
Continuous IV infusion, 15-35 mg/h as required; administer slowly.
Pediatric:
IM/IV/PO/SC: 6 mg/kg/day or 200 mg/m2/day in 6 divided doses, max. 100 mg/dose.
Dose adjustment:
Concomitant phenothiazines or other tranquilizers: 25%-50% dose reduction of meperidine.
Renal impairment: moderate renal failure (GFR 10-50 mL/min), 75% of normal dose at normal intervals; severe renal failure (GFR less than 10 mL/min), 50% of normal dose at usual intervals.
Precaution: acute illness, collapse state or neurological symptoms of previous DPT vaccination.
Adverse effect:
Common: lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, sedated.
Serious: cardiac arrest, disorder of cardiovascular system, hypotension, syncope, seizure, respiratory depression.
