IMERO1 “Meropem IV injection” 500 mg/vial
適應症：對meropenem具有感受性之細菌引起之感染症。Neisseria Meningitidis化膿性腦膜炎。
Usual dose:
Infection of skin and/or subcutaneous tissue, Complicated: IV
Adult: 500 mg q8h.
Pediatric (≧3 mon): 10 mg/kg q8h; max. 500 mg q8h.
Infectious disease of abdomen, complicated:
Adult: 1 g q8h.
Bacterial meningitis: IV
Pediatric (≧3 mon): 40 mg/kg q8h, max. 2 g q8h.
Infectious disease of abdomen, complicated:
Pediatric (≧3 mon): 20 mg/kg q8h, max. 1 g q8h.
Dose adjustment:
Renal failure: CrCl 26-50 ml/min, usual dose q12h; CrCl 10-25 ml/min, 50% usual dose q12h; CrCl < 10 ml/min 50% usual dose q24h.
Adverse effect:
Common: injection site inflammation, diarrhea, nausea, headache.
Serious: erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, neutropenia, seizure, angioedema.
