Each tablet contains metformin HCl 850 mg, pioglitazone 15 mg.
適應症：適用於配合飲食和運動，以改善下列第二型糖尿病患者的血糖控制、已在接受pioglitazone和metformin合併治療者，或僅使用metformin但控制不佳者。
Usual dose:
Adult: 1 tab qd-bid; max. 3 tab/day.
Precautions:
Same as metformin and pioglitazone, be carefull the use on congestive heart failure, active bladder cancer, prior history of bladder cancer ; hypoglycemia, increased risk in patients receiving combination therapy with insulin or other antidiabetics; dose reduction of combination therapy may be needed.
Macular edema has been reported.
Premenopausal anovulatory women; may cause ovulation and increase risk for pregnancy.
Prolonged use (more than 12 months) and/or high cumulative doses; increased risk of bladder cancer.
Adverse effect:
Common: edema, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, UTI, pharyngitis, increased body weight.
Serious: congestive heart failure, ALT/SGPT level raised (0.3% ), liver failure , diabetic macular edema , malignant tumor of urinary bladder , pneumonia
