OCYTO1 “Cytotec tablet” 200 mcg/tab
適應症：胃及十二指腸潰瘍。
Usual dose:
Abortion: in combination with mifepristone: PO
Adult: 400 mcg/2 days after mifepristone dose of 600mg.
Cervical ripening procedure-induction of labor:
Adult: Intravaginal, 25 mcg q3-4h, max. 400 mcg; PO initial, 100 mcg q4h, max. 5 doses; or initial, 50 mcg q4h for 2 doses, then 100 mcg q4h until membrane rupture, max. of 5 doses.
NSAID-induced gastric ulcer prophylaxis: PO
Adult: 200 mcg qid.
Ulcers- duodenal, gastric: PO
Adult: 800 mcg/day in 2 or 4 divided doses for 4 wks.
Precaution: may cause diarrhea.
Adverse effect:
Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, dizziness, headache, rash, pruritus, edema, tinnitus, LFT elevations, postmenopausal vaginal bleeding.
