ENT Preparations : Nasal Sprays or Drops
TNASO1 “Nasonex aqua nasal spray” 0.05 mg/dose; 140 dose/bot
適應症：成人、青少年及三歲以上兒童之季節性或常年性過敏性鼻炎。亦用於治療18歲及以上成年人輕度至中度鼻息肉之相關症狀。
Usual dose:
Allergic rhinitis:
Adult: 2 sprays in nostril qd.
Pediatric
(2-11 yrs): 1 spray in nostril qd.
(≧12 yrs): 2 sprays in nostril qd.
Nasal polyp:
Adult: 2 sprays in nostril bid; some p’ts may respond to 2 sprays qd.
Seasonal allergic rhinitis; Prophylaxis:
Adult: 2 sprays in nostril qd, initiate 2-4 wks prior to the anticipated start of the allergy season.
Contraindication: status asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asthma.
Adverse effect:
Common: topical atrophic condition of skin, pruritus, abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, backache, musculoskeletal pain, myalgia unspecified, headache, dysmenorrhea, allergic rhinitis, oral candidiasis, intranasal epistaxis, pharyngitis, upper respiratory infection, topical burning sensation, fatigue, intranasal viral disease.
Serious: secondary hypocortisolism, bone density finding, decreased bone density, glaucoma.
