Relief of Pain and Inflammation : Narcotic Analgesics
IMORP1 “Morphine HCl injection” 10 mg/ml; 1 ml/amp
IMORP2 “Morphine HCl injection” 20 mg/ml; 1 ml/amp
OMORP1 “Morphine HCl tablet” 10 mg/tab
適應症：鎮痛。
Usual dose:
Adult:
PO: 10-30 mg q4h as needed.
IM/SC: 5-20 mg q4h as needed.
IV: 2-10 mg IV administered slowly over 4-5 min, a strength of 2.5-15 mg may be diluted in 4-5 ml of sterile water for injection.
Pediatric:
SC: 0.1-0.2 mg/kg q4h, max. 15 mg/dose.
IV: 0.05-0.1 mg/kg, max. 10 mg/dose.
Contraindication: upper airway obstruction, paralytic ileus, acute or postoperative pain, acute or severe bronchial asthma.
Adverse effect:
Common: peripheral edema, pruritus, rash, sweating, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, xerostomia, liver function tests abnormal, backache, asthenia, dizziness, headache, insomnia, lightheadedness, paresthesia, somnolence, amblyopia, miosis, anxiety, depression, urinary retention, fever, hiccoughs.
Serious: cardiac arrest, orthostatic hypotension, other specified circulatory disorder, circulatory depression, shock, syncope, anaphylaxis, myoclonus, finding of intracranial pressure, dyspnea, respiratory depression.
