適應症：適用於營養不良之腹膜透析病人。
Usual dose: IV infusion as needed.
Adverse effect:
Nausea, vomiting, hypotension, muscle cramps, air embolus, infection, thrombosis, haemorrhage, peritonitis, hernias, hyperglycaemia, protein malnutrition, and catheter complications.
健保使用規範：(91/2/1) (92/10/1) (99/5/1)
1.限長期接受腹膜透析之病患使用；該病患至少接受腹膜透析（CAPD）三個月以上者。
2.每天限使用一袋代替葡萄糖腹膜透析液。
3.serum albumin <=3.5gm/dl 或nPNA <0.9患者使用，需附開始CAPD當月的檢驗報告影本。
【註: nPNA (normalized protein equivalent of total nitrogen appearance) (gm/kg/day) = [10.76×(0.69×UNA+1.46)] ÷body weight (kg)】
4.每週Kt/V需＞1.7。(92/10/1)(99/5/1)
5.不得同時合併其他胺基酸（amino acid）使用。
