Gastrointestinal Agents : Agents Used in Peptic Ulcer Disease : Proton Pump Inhibitor
OOMEZ1 “Omezol capsule” 20 mg/cap
適應症：十二指腸潰瘍、胃潰瘍、逆流性食道炎、Zollingwe-Ellison症候群（注射藥品用於無法以口服藥物有效治療時之取代療法）。
Usual dose:
Duodenal ulcer disease, active; and erosive esophagitis associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease: PO
Adult: 20 mg qd.
Pediatric
(≧ 1 yr): (5-10 kg): 5 mg qd.
(10-20 kg): 10 mg qd.
(≧ 20 kg): 20 mg qd.
Gastric hypersecretion: PO
Adult: initial, 60 mg qd, may increase up to 120 mg tid; doses 80 mg/day should be administered in divided doses.
Gastric ulcer, active, benign: PO
Adult: 40 mg qd for 4-8 wks.
Helicobacter pylori gastrointestinal tract infection: PO
Adult: 20 mg bid for 10-14 days (in combination triple therapy, amoxicillin 1 g bid plus clarithromycin 500 mg bid).
Precaution:
Dissolved with 100 ml NS or D5W, infuse over 20-30 min. Reconstituted solution must be used within 12h (NS) or 6h (D5W).
Adverse effect:
Common: diarrhea, headache,, abdominal pain.
Serious: hepatotoxicity, interstitial nephritis, pancreatitis, hip fracture, rhabdomyolysis.
