Immunologic Agents : Active Immunity (Vaccines and Toxoids)
IPREV2 “Prevenar [13價] injection” 0.5 ml/syringe
適應症：預防莢膜血清型（4、6B、9V、14、18C、19F和23F）的肺炎鏈球菌所引起的侵入性疾病及2歲以下該七型肺炎鏈球菌引起的中耳炎。
Usual dose:
Pediatric (6 wks – 10 yrs): IM
Primary series: 0.5 ml for 4 doses at 2, 4, and 6 mon of age and booster at 12-15 mon of age.
Previously unvaccinated, all children 7-11 mon of age: 0.5 ml for 3 doses; give 2 doses at least 4 wks apart, third dose after one-year birthday, separated from the second dose by at least 2 mon.
Previously unvaccinated, all children 12-23 mon: 0.5 ml for 2 doses given at least 2 mon apart.
Previously unvaccinated, high-risk children 24-59 mon of age: 0.5 ml for 2 doses given 2 mon apart followed by 1 dose of the 23-valent pneumococcal vaccine at least 2 mon after the second 7-valent conjugate vaccine.
Precaution:
Does not replace use of 23-valent pneumococcal vaccine in high-risk children 24 mon and older.
Adverse effect:
Common: injection site reaction, decrease in appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, somnolence, irritability, restless sleep, fever (38 degrees centigrade or greater).
Serious: anaphylaxis, febrile seizure.
