IPNEU1 “Pneumovax 23 injection” 50 mcg/ml; 0.5 ml/vial
適應症：預防肺炎鏈球菌性肺炎，及肺炎鏈球菌性菌血症。
Usual dose:
Adult (≧2 yrs): 0.5 mL IM/SC as single dose; age < 65 yrs at time of vaccination, immunocompromised or asplenic, single revaccination dose recommended at 5 yrs or more from previous dose.
Precaution: chemotherapy or other immunosuppressive therapy; timing of immunization is critical.
Adverse effect:
Common: injection site reaction, fever.
Serious: hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, anaphylactoid reaction, angioedema, serum sickness due to drug.
