Cardiovascular – Renal Drugs : Antihypertensive : Angiotensin-converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEI)
OACCU1 “Accupril FC tablet” 10 mg/tab
適應症:高血壓及充血性心衰竭。
Usual dose:
Congestive heart failure:
Adult: 5 mg bid; titrate at wk intervals, if tolerated, to 20-40 mg bid.
Hypertension:
Adult: initial, 10-20 mg qd; adjust q2w if needed up to a maintenance dose of 20-80 mg qd or bid.
Pediatric: initial, 5-10 mg qd; titrate, max. 80 mg/day.
Dose adjustment:
Renal impairment: CrCl 30-60 ml/min, initially 5 mg qd; CrCl 10-30 ml/min, initially 2.5 mg qd. In CHF p’ts, the starting dose of 2.5-5 mg may be given bid on day 2 and titrated at wk intervals if well tolerated.
Geriatric: starting dose 10 mg qd.
Contraindication: history of ACEI-induced angioedema.
Precaution:
Pregnancy, second and 3rd trimesters; discontinue quinapril therapy.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypotension, hyperkalemia, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, cough.
Serious: intestinal angioedema, liver failure, angioedema (face, lips, throat).
