適應症：
ICVVH1:腹膜透析。
INSB4, INSB7, INSB9, INSP2：水分及電解質之補充。
INSB6：手術時出血、急慢性腹膜炎之虛脫狀態、胃潰瘍等之急性出血、各種傳染病及中毒、水份不足之補給。
INSG3：水份補給。
ISODC2：鈉或氯離子補充（血液中鈉或氯離子濃度之提高）、安迪生氏危象、及糖尿病性昏迷。
INSB8, INSP1, INSP4, INSP6：手術或其他疾患之水分及電解質的補給。
ISODI2, INS20：鈉、氯離子電解與水分補給。
ISODI9, ISODI4：鈉、氯離子之電解質與水分補給。
TNS1, TNS3：皮膚、粘膜的洗淨、濕布、含漱、支氣管粘膜洗淨、促進喀痰排出、醫療用器具之洗淨。
Usual dose:
IV infusion, as needed.
Use on the cleansing of skin, surface of trauma and mucus, the amount depends on need.
General Dosage Information
Sodium chloride 0.9% irrigation solution contains 154 mEq/L sodium and 154 mEq/L chloride. Calculated osmolarity is 308 mOsmol/L
Usual dose:
Hyponatremia
Adult: Dose should be guided by serum sodium levels, clinical condition, patient age and weight.
Chronic hyponatremia, severe symptoms:
Increase serum sodium by 2 to 4 mmol/L within 2 to 4 hours (1 to 2 mmol/L/hr) with infusion of hypertonic saline. Limit corrections of sodium level to less than 10 to 12 mmol/L in 24 hours, and to less than 18 mmol/L in 48 hours to avoid demyelination syndrome (guideline dosing).
Pediatric: Guide dosage, rate, duration of administration by indication for use, patient age, weight, clinical condition, concomitant treatment, and patient response.
Plasma aldosterone level
Intravenous doses used have included: 2-3 L of normal saline IV infused over 4 to 6 hr, 1.25 L of normal saline IV over 2 hr, or 2 L normal saline IV over 4 hr.
Saline suppression test
2-3 L of normal saline IV infused at 500 mL/hr over 4-6 hr
Adverse effect:
Common: phlebitis, hypervolemia.
Serious: congestive heart failure, hypernatremia, overhydration, disseminated intravascular coagulation, respiratory distress.
