OELTR2 “Eltroxin tablet” 100 mcg/tab
適應症：甲狀腺機能減退症。
Usual dose:
Hypothyroidism:
Adult: 1.7 mcg/kg/day in a single daily dose (usual maintenance dose is 100-125 mcg/day in 70 kg adult).
Pediatric
(0-3 mon): 10-15 mcg/kg/day.
(3 -6 mon): 8-10 mcg/kg/day.
(6-12 mon): 6-8 mcg/kg/day.
(1-5 yrs): 5-6 mcg/kg/day.
(6-12 yrs): 4-5 mcg/kg/day.
(> 12 yrs, growth and puberty incomplete): 2-3 mcg/kg/day.
(growth and puberty complete): 1.7 mcg/kg/day.
Thyroid stimulating hormone suppression, pituitary: Adult: thyroid cancer, doses > 2 mcg/kg/day are usually required to suppress TSH below 0.1 mU/L.
Contraindication:
Acute MI, treatment of obesity, uncorrected adrenal cortical insufficiency, untreated angina, untreated hypertension, untreated thyrotoxicosis.
Adverse effect:
Serious: myocardial infarction, osteopenia, pseudotumor cerebri, seizure.
