Ophthalmic Preparations : Glaucoma
ETIMO2 “Timoptol XE oph. sol’n” 0.5%; 2.5 ml/bot
適應症：高眼壓症、廣角性青光眼。
Usual dose: 1 drop qd-bid.
Contraindication: Bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiogenic shock.
Precaution:
Ophthalmic use in p’ts with narrow-angle or angle-closure glaucoma (only in combination with a miotic), ophthalmic use may produce additive systemic effects in p’ts receiving an oral beta-blocker.
Adverse effect:
Blurred vision, burning sensation in eye, conjunctival hyperemia, corneal anesthesia, dry eyes, reduced visual acuity.
