適應症：
ITRAN3：紫斑病、白血病、肺結核之喀血、血痰、手術時之異常出血、腎出血。
OTRAN6, OTRAN3：全身及局部出血或出血性疾病。
Usual dose:
Gastrointestinal hemorrhage:
Adult: 1 gm IV q4-6h for 2-3 days followed by 1.5 gm PO 3-4 times a day for 3-7 days.
Operation on heart:
Adult: 100 mg/kg IV pre-op, may be followed by an additional 50 mg/kg IV post-op, or 15 mg/kg IV followed by an infusion of 1 mg/kg/h for 5-6 h started prior to initiating coronary bypass.
Hemophilia – Hemorrhage; prophylaxis – Tooth extraction:
Pediatric: pre-op, 10 mg/kg IV as a single dose with replacement therapy immediately prior to extraction or 25 mg/kg 3-4 times a day beginning one day before surgery; post-op, 25 mg/kg 3-4 times a day for 2-8 days or 10 mg/kg IV 3-4 times daily.
Contraindication:
Active intravascular clotting process, acquired defective color vision, subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Precaution:
May cause visual abnormalities, ophthalmological examination should be conducted before and during extended treatment; disseminated intravascular coagulation.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypotension, due to rapid injection, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, giddiness.
Serious: thrombotic disorder.
