OCHAM1“Champix FC tablet” 0.5 mg/tab
OCHAM2 “Champix FC tablet” 1 mg/tab
適應症：戒菸輔助劑。
Usual dose:
Adult (> 18 yrs): initial, 0.5 mg qd for Day 1-3, then 0.5 mg bid for Day 4-7, then 1 mg bid; duration of treatment is 12 wks; an additional 12 wks in p’ts who have successfully stopped smoking may increase the likelihood of long-term abstinence.
Dose adjustment:
Renal impairment: CrCl < 30 ml/min, initial dose 0.5 mg qd; titrate up to 0.5 mg bid.
Precaution:
Serious neuropsychiatric symptoms (behavior changes, agitation, depressed mood, suicidal ideation and behavior) reported with use of varenicline; may be complicated by nicotine withdrawal.
Adverse effect:
Common: constipation, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, dream disorder, headache, insomnia.
Serious: abnormal behavior, suicidal thoughts.
