適應症：鬱症、泛焦慮症、社交焦慮症、恐慌症。
Usual dose:
Generalized anxiety disorder, Major depressive disorder: Adult (> 18 yrs): initial, 37.5-75 mg/day, single dose; may increase dosage by 75 mg/day q4d to a max. 225 mg/day.
Social phobia: 75 mg/day, single-dose.
Dose adjustment:
Renal impairment (mild to moderate): decrease usual dose by 25-50%.
Liver disease: decrease usual dose by 50% or more.
Hemodialysis: decrease usual dose by 50%.
Contraindication:
Concomitant use of MAOIs; risk of potentially life-threatening serotonin syndrome.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypertension, sweating symptom, weight loss, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea, xerostomia, asthenia, dizziness, dream disorder, headache, insomnia, somnolence, tremor, blurred vision, feeling nervous, abnormal ejaculation, impotence, orgasm disorder.
Serious: hyponatremia, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, bleeding, hepatitis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, seizure, serotonin syndrome, depression, exacerbation, hypomania, mania, suicidal thoughts.
