適應症：第 II 型糖尿病。作為單一治療－針對僅經由運動與飲食無法良好控制的患者，以及因不耐受或是禁忌症而認定為不適合使用metformin的患者。
Usual dose:
Diabetes mellitus type II: 50 mg PO qd or in 2 divided doses.
Adverse effect:
May cause headache, dizziness, nausea, low blood sugar.
