OYAZ1 “Yaz table”
Each tablet contains drospirenone 3 mg, ethinyl estradiol 0.02 mg
適應症：1.避孕；2.治療有避孕需求且選擇使用口服避孕藥的婦女之中度痤瘡。
Usual dose: Adult (≧14 yrs):
Acne vulgaris (Moderate): 1 active (pink) tablet PO every day for 24 consecutive days followed by 1 inert (white) tablet daily for 4 days per menstrual cycle.
Contraception: begin therapy either on the first day of menstrual period or on the first Sunday after the onset of menstruation
Contraindication:
adrenal insufficiency (risk of hyperkalemia), breast cancer or other estrogen or progestin-sensitive cancer, cerebrovascular disease, coronary artery disease
deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism.
Adverse effect:
Common: weight change, bloating symptom, nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting, migraine, depression, amenorrhea, break-through bleeding, breast tenderness, discharge from nipple, disorder of menstruation, swelling of breast.
Serious: arterial thromboembolism, hypertension, myocardial infarction, disorder of gallbladder, thromboembolic disorder, thrombophlebitis, neoplasm of liver, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral thrombosis, thrombotic stroke, pulmonary embolism.
