適應症:高血壓、狹心症。

Usual dose:

Angina:

Adult: initial, 50 mg qd. max. 200 mg qd titrate to maintenance after 1 wk, 50-100 mg qd.

Cardiac dysrhythmia:

Adult: 50-100 mg qd.

Pediatric: initial, 0.3-1.4 mg/kg qd, may increase by 0.5 mg/kg/day increments q3-4d; max. 2 mg/kg qd.

Hypertension:

Adult: 50-100 mg qd.

Pediatric: initial, 0.5-1 mg/kg/day qd-bid, max. 2 mg/kg/day up to 100 mg/day qd-bid.

Migraine headache, prophylaxis:

Adult: 50-100 mg qd.

Dose adjustment:

Renal impairment: CrCl≧35 ml/min – normal dosing, CrCl 15-35 ml/min – max.50 mg qd, CrCl < 15 ml/min –max. 25 mg qd.

Contraindication:

Cardiogenic shock, hypersensitivity to atenolol, overt cardiac failure, second and third degree AV block, severe sinus bradycardia.

Adverse effect:

Common: cold extremities, hypotension, dizziness, depression, insomnia, tiredness, diarrhea, nausea, bradycardia.

Serious: lupus syndrome.
