Neurologic Drugs : Antiepileptics
ORIVO5 “Rivotril tablet” 0.5 mg/tab
OCLON1 “Clonopam tablet” 0.5 mg/tab
適應症：癲癇。
Usual dose:
Panic disorder:
Initial, 0.25 mg orally twice daily for 3 days, then increased to a target dose of 1 mg daily.
Maintenance, may increase dosage by 0.125 to 0.25 mg orally twice daily every 3 days to a MAX total daily dose of 1 to 4 mg.
Seizure
Initial, 0.5 mg orally 3 times a day
Maintenance, may increase daily dose by 0.5 to 1 mg orally every 3 days to a max total daily dose of 20 mg (divided into 3 daily doses).
Sleep walking disorder
Pediatric (> 10 yrs, 30 kg): initial, 0.01-0.03 mg/kg/day divided into 2-3 daily doses; maintenance, may increase daily dose by 0.25-0.5 mg q3d to a max. 0.1-0.2 mg/kg/day (divided into 3 daily doses).
Dose adjustment:
Discontinuation dosing: decrease dose by 0.125 mg bid q3d.
Liver disease, geriatric: decrease usual dose by 50%.
Contraindication:
Acute narrow angle glaucoma,.hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines, significant liver disease
Adverse effect:
Common: ataxia, coordination problem, dizziness, somnolence, problem behavior, upper respiratory infection, fatigue.
Serious: depression, suicidal thoughts, respiratory depression.
