Dermatological Preparations : Steroids
TESPE1 “Esperson ointment” 0.25 mg/gm; 5 gm/tube
適應症：溼疹、牛皮癬、燒傷、曬斑、昆蟲咬傷等皮膚感染症。
Usual dose:
Adults and chlidren≧12yrs:
Disease of skin, corticosteroid responsive, Scalp psoriasis (moderate to severe): Topical, apply a thin layer to affected area twice daily, not to exceed 2 wks; max. dose 50g/wk.
Topical, qd onto dry scalp
Adults:
Genital lichen sclerosus : apply a thin layer topically to vulvar surfaces once daily for 3 months; if symptoms resolve in less than 3 months, apply twice weekly for the remainder of the treatment period.
Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to clobetasol or any ingredient in the preparation , Primary scalp infection
Precaution:
Avoid ophthalmic, oral, face or intravaginal use. Prolonged use may increase the risk of systemic absorption
Adverse effect:
Common: stinging of skin, burning sensation, irritation symptom, Pruritus
Serious: secondary hypocortisolism.
