Hormones and Agents Affecting Hormonal Mechanism: Uterine Stimulants and Relaxants
TPROS1 “Prostin E2 vaginal tablet” 3 mg/tab
適應症：對經產婦或順產婦之引產有效。
Usual dose:
PO 1 tab/h, max. 6 tab/day.
Induction: 塞入一錠(3mg)至後穹窿，使用6~8小時仍無法進行生產，可使用第二顆。在24小時內，最高劑量為6mg，不建議連續使用超過兩天。
Contraindication:
Fetal distress, multipara with 6 or more previous term pregnancies, previous cesarean section or major uterine surgery, simultaneous IV oxytocic drugs, unexplained vaginal bleeding during pregnancy.
Adverse effect:
Common: abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, backache, headache, abnormality of forces of labor.
Serious: fetal distress, fetus or newborn affected by hypertonic labor, hypertonic uterine dysfunction, premature rupture of membranes, intrauterine sepsis of fetus.
