適應症：躁病、精神病狀態、嘔吐、噁心、攻擊性與破壞性之行為障礙、舞蹈病。
Usual dose:
Psychotic disorder: PO
Adult: 0.5-2 mg (moderate symptoms) or 3-5 mg (severe symptoms) PO bid-tid.
Pediatric
(3-12 yrs, 15-40 kg): 0.05 mg/kg/day bid-tid, may increase by 0.5 mg/day at 5-7 day intervals to therapeutic effect, max. 0.15 mg/kg/day.
(≧12 yrs): 0.5-2 mg (moderate symptoms) or 3-5 mg (severe symptoms) bid-tid.
Schizophrenia: IM/PO
Adult: 2-5 mg IM, may repeat q4-8h depending on p’t response; increase to q1h if needed; 0.5-2 mg (moderate symptoms) or 3-5 mg (severe symptoms) PO bid-tid.
Pediatric
(3-12 yrs, 15-40 kg): 0.05 mg/kg/day PO bid-tid, may increase by 0.5 mg/day at 5-7 day intervals to therapeutic effect, max. 0.15 mg/kg/day.
(≧12 yrs): 0.5-2 mg (moderate symptoms)or 3-5 mg (severe symptoms) PO bid-tid.
Tourette’s syndrome: IM/PO
Adult: same as the dosage of Schizophrenia.
Pediatric
(3-12 yrs, 15-40 kg): 0.05-0.075 mg/kg/day PO bid-tid, increase by 0.5 mg at 5-7 day intervals to therapeutic effect, max. 0.075 mg/kg/day.
(≧12 yrs): same as the dosage of Schizophrenia.
Dose adjustment:
Debilitated p’ts, Geriatric: 1-6 mg/day divided bid-tid; may gradually increase dosage in 0.5 mg/day increments.
Contraindication:
Comatose states, Parkinson’s disease, severe toxic central nervous system depression.
Adverse effect:
Common: hypotension, constipation, xerostomia, akathisia, dystonia, extrapyramidal disease, parkinsonian, somnolence, blurred vision.
Serious: prolonged QT interval, torsades de pointes, paralytic ileus, agranulocytosis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, seizure, tardive dyskinesia.
Haloperidol Decanoate【C】
IBINI2 “Binison injection” 50 mg/ml; 1ml/amp
適應症：精神病狀態、躁病、噁心、嘔吐、攻擊性與破壞性之行為障礙、舞蹈病。
Usual dose:
Schizophrenia: IM
Adult: 2-5 mg IM, may repeat q4-8h depending on p’t response; increase to q1h if needed.
Tourette’s syndrome: IM/PO
Adult: same as the dosage of Schizophrenia.
Dose adjustment: see haloperidol.
Contraindication: see haloperidol.
Adverse effect: see haloperidol.
