Anti-infective Agents : Antituberculosis Agents
ORIFA4 “Rifampicin capsule” 150 mg/cap
ORIF2 “Rif capsule” 300 mg/cap
適應症：肺結核、奈瑟氏腦膜炎球菌帶原者。
Usual dose: TB:
Adult: 10 mg/kg qd (up to 600 mg).
Pediatric: 10-20 mg/kg qd (up to 600 mg).
Prophylaxis of N. meningitides infection:
Adult: 600 mg/day bid for 2 days or 600 mg qd for 4 days.
Pediatric
(≧1 mon): 10 mg/kg bid for 2 days or 10-20 mg/kg qd ( up to 600 mg) × 4 days.
(< 1 mon): 5 mg/kg bid for 2 days or 10-20 mg/kg qd (up to 600 mg) × 4 days.
Prophylaxis of Haemophilus influenzae infection:
Pediatric: 20 mg/kg qd (up to 600 mg) for 4 days.
(neonate < 1 wk): max. 10 mg/kg qd.
Adverse effect:
Common: diarrhea, stomach cramps, discoloration of fecal and saliva and urine.
Serious: hepatitis, blood dyscrasias.
